Community
engagement
Community-driven program by the Fraser Valley Conservancy that encourages people to care for the nature around them. It gives locals the tools, knowledge, and support to restore forests, streams, and to protect habitats and wildlife; all from their own backyards.
It’s about more than conservation, it’s about connection. Neighbours working together to heal the land, one step at a time. Small steps that lead to big change. What are you waiting for? It’s time for you to Step to It.
01. The Concept
Once we knew that the product was going to be all about big buns, we knew we had a lot to play with commercially. We had the unique opportunity to create funny promotions while still remaining family friendly.
Not only is the marketing fun but the product is without bias, truly delicious. A warm, toasted milk bun with a cold scoop of ice cream and your choice of a specialty flavour. People will be drooling over these buns.
As they drive their food trailer to events, it’s common for the Bao Buns employees to catch a honk, thumbs-up, snapshot, smile, or laugh. It’s a bonus to be able to spread joy even during mundane times like sitting in traffic. The laughs they trigger are usually enough to provoke curiosity about the food and encourage the viewer to either look them up online or even share a photo of the trailer to their own followers.

03. Colour Palette
This palette is geared toward the foodies with tones that are appetizing and inviting. The golden tans resemble the gorgeous toast of a freshly fried Bao Bun.
Overall aimed to evoke the feeling of Summer, the season they attend most events. While red is for emphasis and to easily be seen in a natural environment.
