Squamish Chief Hike

My sister no longer lives at home so every once in a while we have to plan a day of some sister time. Last weekend was one of the final warm/sunny days during this transition from Summer to Fall. We decided to take advantage of that and drive to Squamish to go do the Chief.
For those of you that don’t know, the Chief is a popular hiking location. My sister and I are both amateurs and were not sure what we would be facing. There are three different peaks that you can reach and the approximate duration is 6 hours to get to the top. We felt enough achievement and exhaustion after the first one and decided to soak up the sun while we could.

We listened to some music on our phones and had a nice catch up on the peak. While we were laying down, some chipmunks (who I now hear are infamous for being there), were running over to us. We fed them a few sunflower seeds and after that they wouldn’t leave us alone. No complaints by me, as they were adorable. I wanted to Vlog it but my sister is against me filming her so I didn’t get a chance to show everything. I did manage to sneak a couple of short clips if you are interested, you can take a look here:
